The second Transdisciplinary Workplace Research conference will be held from the 16th -19th of September 2020. Given the easing up of Corona regulations in many European countries, including Germany, the TWR board has decided that it will become one of the first truly hybrid conferences – a blend of physical and virtual participation as the potential ‘new normal’ for conferencing of the future. The hybrid conference will be a fully virtual conference with physical sessions in Frankfurt, Germany. People attending the conference virtually will be able to fully participate in all physical sessions and vice versa.
During the TWR2020 conference days you will alternate between plenary and parallel sessions filled with presentations on the latest workplace related studies, from scientists and/or practitioners with diverse disciplinary backgrounds. Additionally, there will be ‘unconference’ sessions to get to know other researchers and interact, such as a transdisciplinary speed-working-event dedicated to ‘Covid-19 Workplace of the future’ roundtable discussions on Wednesday afternoon, speed-dating and of course regular virtual/physical mixed networking breaks.
The TWR network warmly invites both academic and professional researchers to join us either virtually or in Frankfurt for TWR 2020. Approximately 65 workplace studies will be presented during 2 days of different plenary and parallel sessions. The abstracts accepted for presentations in the parallel sessions will be accompanyied by short papers (approximately 3000 words, excluding abstract and references). The short papers have been reviewed by our scientific committee and will be published in proceedings made available at the conference and open source online on this website.
Registration for the TWR 2020 Conference is available through https://express.converia.de/frontend/index.php?folder_id=3224. The Early Bird Rate is granted until 30.06.2020. After that, regular rates apply.
The physical address is the co-working office COWORKSTATT, located at:
In der Schildwacht 11
65933 Frankfurt am Main
We will of course make sure that the physical event meets local Covid-19 regulations regarding distancing and hygiene.
Virtual participation links will be provided shortly before the start of the conference.
